About the Role
The Churchgate Group is a leading conglomerate renowned for its exceptional standards in real estate development and property management in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the World Trade Centre (WTC) Abuja. In this role, you will oversee the seamless operation, maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our commercial and residential facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all occupants.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily HVAC maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting activities across all assigned facilities and plant areas.
- Coordinate HVAC technicians during Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), breakdown repairs, and shutdown activities.
- Monitor the operation of VRV/VRF systems, chillers, DX systems, AHUs, FCUs, and associated ventilation controls.
- Respond promptly to tenant complaints, critical failures, and emergency breakdowns with effective escalation and resolution.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams including electrical, plumbing, and BMS departments.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO, permit-to-work systems, proper PPE usage, and safe refrigerant handling.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on HVAC supervisory experience in high-rise commercial buildings, hotels, or large facilities.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting VRV/VRF systems, chillers, chilled water systems, and complex HVAC controls.
- Relevant professional certifications and safety training (OSHA, NEBOSH, or OEM-specific training) are highly preferred.
