About the Role

Royal Power and Energy Limited (RPE), a leading provider of power backup, conditioning, and protection solutions established in 2005, is looking for a dedicated HVAC / Service Engineer to join our growing technical team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced electrical and climate control systems, helping us maintain our reputation for high-performance and reliable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC, solar PV, inverter, UPS, battery, and transformer systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and electrical power equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, control, and system faults on installed equipment.
  • Conduct system testing, calibration, and performance checks in compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
  • Carry out site inspections, monitor equipment performance, and respond promptly to alarms and system failures.
  • Prepare comprehensive service, maintenance, commissioning, and technical reports for clients and internal management.
  • Support service contracts, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure all activities are completed within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Coordinate effectively with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of HVAC and power backup systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with HSE standards and best practices in engineering field operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage spare parts, tools, and technical documentation efficiently.
