About the Role
Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc is a leading, well-capitalized primary mortgage bank in Nigeria committed to providing innovative shelter solutions and sustainable financial returns. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Human Resources Officer to join our vibrant HR team in Abuja. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a crucial part in executing our human capital strategy, fostering a high-performance work culture, and ensuring operational excellence across all HR functions within the bank.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling, background checks, and the issuance of offer letters.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital employee records, ensuring seamless documentation for internal and external audits.
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs, incorporating new hires, exits, promotions, leaves, and deductions while reconciling with the Finance department.
- Manage onboarding, confirmation processes, probation reviews, and comprehensive induction programs for new employees.
- Administer the leave calendar and monitor strict compliance with the bank's mandatory annual leave policies.
- Support the performance management cycle by tracking appraisal submissions, collating scores, and preparing executive summaries for management.
- Coordinate training logistics, maintain updated training registers, and handle ITF reimbursement documentation.
- Prepare periodic HR reports, manpower data, and regulatory returns accurately and promptly.
- Handle employee relations matters, including documenting queries, disciplinary proceedings, and seamless exit processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of proven HR generalist experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Active CIPM student membership or associate-level professional certification is a strong advantage.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Act, PENCOM regulations, NHF, and PAYE requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern HR Information Systems (HRIS).
