Fortune Heights Farms Limited is a premier and rapidly expanding agricultural enterprise specializing in high-yield catfish production using advanced concrete tank systems and sustainable freshwater sources, alongside a modern poultry division housing over 163,000 layer birds across 10 state-of-the-art pen houses. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Human Resources Officer to join our dedicated team in Odogbolu, Ogun State. In this vital role, you will oversee day-to-day HR operations, support our workforce of agricultural and administrative professionals, and help foster a productive, safe, and engaging working environment that aligns with our organizational growth objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Human Resources Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the employee lifecycle and ensuring smooth administrative functions across both our fish and poultry farming operations.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for farm operations, administrative, and technical roles.
- Manage employee records, attendance tracking, leave management, and personnel files in compliance with company policies and Nigerian labor laws.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing staff grievances, conflict resolution, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in the administration of payroll, employee benefits, health insurance, and performance management evaluations.
- Implement health, safety, and security protocols across the farm premises in collaboration with operational supervisors to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Organize routine staff training, capacity building workshops, and team-building activities to boost productivity and morale.
We are looking for a proactive professional who brings both competence and enthusiasm to our agricultural workspace.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven work experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within the agricultural, manufacturing, or production sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and modern HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with diverse farm and office personnel.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software or digital tools.
- Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Odogbolu, Ogun State, or its immediate environs.
