About the Role
Aspom Travel Agency, a leading travel support and group tour specialist incorporated in 2012, is seeking a proactive, experienced, and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. In this vital role, you will oversee full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with Nigerian labour laws, ensuring our workforce directly supports our strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation processes for all departments.
- Develop, update, and implement comprehensive HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee employee relations, address grievances, and handle disciplinary procedures fairly and professionally.
- Coordinate performance management systems, including probation reviews, annual appraisals, and improvement plans.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian employment regulations and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Identify training needs, organize staff development programs, and drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity within Nigeria.
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is a strong added advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and modern HR administration practices.
- Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and communication skills.
