About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead key people initiatives and partner with management to drive employee performance, engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with management and department heads on critical people and organizational decisions.
  • Lead performance management, KPI implementation, and comprehensive employee development programs.
  • Manage employee relations, handle grievances, address disciplinary matters, and drive effective conflict resolution.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, seamless onboarding, talent management, and employee retention strategies.
  • Drive employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant capacity-building initiatives.
  • Develop, update, and implement comprehensive HR policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide expert HR advisory support to executive management and employees.
  • Monitor key HR metrics and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement of all HR processes to elevate the overall employee experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related field.
  • Must be a graduate of a private university in Nigeria.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in HR management or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) roles.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, talent management, and general HR operations.
  • Thorough understanding of Nigerian labour laws and contemporary HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM is an added advantage.
