About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing facility management company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, with our corporate office located in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team and support our vibrant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and corresponding with candidates.
- Support the seamless onboarding and orientation process for all new hires.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital employee records and HR databases while ensuring strict confidentiality.
- Prepare standard HR documentation, including employment letters, contracts, and routine correspondence.
- Monitor and track employee attendance, leave requests, and related staff records.
- Collaborate with finance to provide accurate attendance and data inputs for payroll preparation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding general HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing staff training sessions, performance management cycles, and company engagement events.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Proven prior experience in an HR or administrative support role is a distinct advantage.
- Solid understanding of basic HR practices, Nigerian labour standards, and employment procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and acute attention to detail.
