About the Role

Sunrise Universal Integrated Supermarket, a prominent subsidiary of Bond Group of Companies situated in Ibadan, Oyo State, with diverse business interests in supermarket, pharmacy, eatery, and arcade operations, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources and Admin Manager. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our HR and administrative functions, ensuring seamless multi-location operations and fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture across our fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and comprehensive employee orientation processes.
  • Manage accurate staff records, attendance tracking, leave administration, and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate structured performance management systems and employee appraisal cycles.
  • Handle employee relations, including disciplinary matters, grievances, and effective conflict resolution.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal company policies.
  • Identify capability gaps, training needs, and coordinate impactful employee development programs.
  • Support payroll preparation by maintaining accurate attendance and employee data.
  • Oversee daily administrative operations, office facilities, equipment, and departmental budgets.
  • Supervise administrative support staff, security teams, maintenance schedules, and vendor management.
  • Ensure comprehensive compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.

Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or HND in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI is a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in Human Resources and Administration within retail, hospitality, or fast-paced multi-location environments.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing large, diverse workforces across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and modern HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern HR management systems.
