About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is a dynamic Information Technology company specializing in innovative people screening and recruitment solutions. Since 2007, we have pioneered objective recruitment processes meeting international standards. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive HSSE Officer to lead our health, safety, security, and environment functions, ensuring a secure, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace across our operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the comprehensive HSSE management system across all operational areas.
- Conduct and oversee rigorous risk assessments, regular workplace inspections, and internal audits.
- Develop, update, and implement robust HSSE policies, standard operating procedures, and employee training programs.
- Lead proactive incident prevention initiatives, thorough investigations, and accurate reporting protocols.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, physical security measures, and sustainable environmental management practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable Nigerian HSSE regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior HSSE personnel to build a strong safety culture.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Environmental/Health Sciences, Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or presentation of a valid exemption certificate.
- Demonstrated professional experience in HSSE management, including supervisory responsibilities and risk assessment expertise.
- Strong working knowledge of statutory HSSE regulations, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
