We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Supervisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental operations directly at our client's rig-site. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving our commitment to zero-incident operations, protecting our most valuable asset: our people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion and foster a proactive safety culture across the rig-site, ensuring full compliance with Nigerian environmental regulations and corporate HSE standards.
  • Conduct engaging daily safety toolboxes and pre-tour meetings to align crew members on daily operational hazards and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead thorough incident and accident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform rigorous audits of rig safety systems, personal protective equipment compliance, and operational procedures regularly.
  • Lead and coordinate emergency response plans, conducting regular drills to ensure crew preparedness for potential offshore or onshore rig emergencies.
  • Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, safety reports, and regulatory logs in alignment with industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven HSE leadership experience specifically within a rig-site or upstream oil and gas environment.
  • Mandatory possession of recognized professional certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate or OSHA certification.
  • Strong, demonstrable experience in emergency response coordination and crisis management within the energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to Nigerian oilfield operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence personnel at all levels.
