About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive, safety-conscious HSE Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection across all our operations and work sites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across all company work sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe conditions and ensure prompt, effective corrective actions.
- Perform thorough health and safety risk assessments and recommend appropriate hazard control measures.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety violations, documenting findings and recommending preventative measures.
- Deliver engaging safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and site workers.
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations, including the proper storage, disposal, and recycling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance reports.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Recognized professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or NISCN will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in HSE roles, preferably within the construction, real estate development, or engineering sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and Nigerian HSE regulations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively enforce safety standards.
