About the Role

Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group is looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our fast-growing FMCG business in Nigeria. In this role, you will partner with business and functional leaders to translate commercial priorities into impactful people solutions, driving a high-performance culture across our culinary and packaged foods divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, providing expert HR guidance on workforce and organizational matters.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, and talent acquisition to build strong pipelines for commercial and operations functions.
  • Manage performance cycles, facilitate talent reviews, and support leadership development and succession planning.
  • Design and execute capability-gap assessments and targeted learning interventions to foster continuous professional growth.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, champion positive employee relations, and ensure fair application of HR policies.
  • Maintain HR operational excellence, utilizing people analytics and dashboards to deliver actionable insights to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Relevant postgraduate degree and professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD are strongly preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial generalist or business partnering background in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning across multiple locations.
