About the Role
Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a premier hospitality consultancy company incorporated in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to elevating the standard of hospitality and leisure across small and medium-sized hotels. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping operations, ensure exceptional cleanliness standards, and deliver memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise room attendants, cleaners, and laundry personnel, allocating daily duties and monitoring staff attendance, grooming, and performance.
- Conduct thorough daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure strict adherence to hotel quality and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Front Office regarding room status control, managing Vacant Clean, Dirty, and Out of Order rooms efficiently.
- Monitor linen inventories, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and preventing unnecessary waste.
- Handle lost and found items professionally, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Identify and report maintenance defects promptly, following up to ensure swift resolution by the technical team.
- Train new hires, conduct regular on-the-job briefings, and enforce workplace safety and chemical handling protocols.
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports covering room status, staff attendance, maintenance issues, and inventory usage.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven housekeeping experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
