About the Role
The Providence Hotel, situated on the prestigious Oba Akinjobi Way in the Government Reserved Area of Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor. In this role, you will direct and coordinate all housekeeping operations to ensure our hotel facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, luxury, and comfort for both business and leisure travelers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, train, and direct room cleaners to ensure prompt and efficient housekeeping of guest rooms and VIP areas according to hotel standards.
- Inspect all check-out and stay-over rooms, maintaining accurate records and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage inventory, par stocks, and stock-taking procedures while overseeing laundry and valet services.
- Ensure adherence to QHSE and food safety management standards, conducting safety drills and reporting incidents without delay.
- Handle guest requests professionally, addressing 'DND' rooms, special accommodations, and short-notice room changes.
- High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- Proven several years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and hotel management software such as Opera PMS.
- Fluent in English with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
