About the Role
Hotel Dchis, a premier three-star hotel located in Eliozu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is seeking diligent and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every visitor enjoys a memorable and comfortable stay with us.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities such as toiletries, towels, and stationery.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and polish fixtures regularly.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to management.
- Maintain the housekeeping trolley, storage rooms, and cleaning equipment in an organized and safe manner.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and lost-and-found items with utmost professionalism and discretion.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines established by the hotel.
- Relevant work experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar housekeeping role within the hospitality industry.
- Possession of a high school diploma, WASSCE, or relevant professional certification in hospitality or catering.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items during shifts.
