About the Role
Movana Hotel & Suites, a premier 4-star boutique hotel located in the Alimosho corporate and commercial corridor of Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. Established in 2023, our property provides upscale accommodations, corporate event spaces, and high-end leisure amenities tailored for both business executives and discerning travelers. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our exceptional standards of guest satisfaction by ensuring all rooms and public areas remain spotless, welcoming, and beautifully presented at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms in accordance with hotel brand standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and restock room amenities such as toiletries, towels, and refreshment supplies.
- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to the maintenance department.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in public areas, hallways, elevators, and back-of-house hotel sections.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and lost-and-found items with utmost professionalism, discretion, and courtesy.
- Manage cleaning supplies efficiently, ensuring carts are properly stocked and equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, sanitation, and security policies established by the hotel management.
- Possess a relevant OND, SSCE, or professional certification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of proven housekeeping experience within a reputable hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Reside within Lagos Mainland or the Alimosho axis for ease of commuting.
