Hotel Capitol, a premier three-star luxury hotel located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is currently looking for dynamic and customer-focused Hotel Waiters. Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and present food and beverage menus with comprehensive knowledge of ingredients and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, efficiently utilizing the point-of-sale (POS) system and forwarding slips to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and accurately in accordance with established hotel service standards and room service procedures.
- Handle guest bills, invoices, and payment transactions professionally, ensuring all sales are accurately recorded.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization at service stations, dining areas, and tables throughout the shift.
- Clear dirty dishes, reset tables promptly, and complete assigned opening and closing side duties.
- Accommodate special guest requests regarding dietary needs or food preparation methods with flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Supervisor and kitchen staff to report guest feedback, complaints, and menu changes.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Prior experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environment is an added advantage.
- Must reside within the Akute, Ojodu, Ikeja, Agege, or Ogba axis for easy commute.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
