About the Role

Guided by our philosophy of thinking beyond boundaries, we are currently seeking a dedicated and polished Hotel Waiter for our Bourdillon Hotel & Apartment Lugbe Branch. In this role, you will serve as the face of our dining and lounge areas, ensuring every guest receives warm, prompt, and professional service that exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, manage table reservations, and assist with seating arrangements.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the menu, presentation standards, and daily specials to answer guest inquiries accurately.
- Take guest orders using captain order dockets, reviewing KOT and order dockets efficiently.
- Communicate dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests clearly with the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverage items with enthusiasm, applying correct service techniques at all times.
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Clear, collect, and return food and beverage items promptly while maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace.
- Present accurate final bills to guests and process payments seamlessly in coordination with the cashier.
- Attend pre-shift briefing meetings and consistently uphold brand standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant hospitality certification.
- Proven experience as a Waiter, Server, or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
- Good basic numeracy skills for handling billing and payments.
