Hotel Capitol, a contemporary three-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay begins and ends with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all documentation and identification requirements are met.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Oversee room reservations, modifications, and cancellations using property management booking systems.
- Process cash and card payments accurately while maintaining transparent financial records.
- Address and resolve guest concerns swiftly to guarantee utmost satisfaction and a memorable experience.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a customer service or hospitality environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with hotel booking software.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and maintain exceptional organizational skills.
- Immaculate professional appearance and a welcoming, positive attitude.
- Proximity to work locations along the Ogba, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, Ojodu Berger, Akute, or Ikeja axis is strongly preferred.
