Key Responsibilities- Assist the chefs and cooks with daily food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and accurately portioning ingredients.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and sanitation standards across all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery promptly and efficiently to ensure a continuous flow of service.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store food deliveries and kitchen supplies in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations at all times.
- Manage waste disposal effectively and keep all kitchen and storage areas organized and hazard-free.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and promptly notify supervisors of any impending shortages.
- Support the broader culinary team seamlessly during high-volume breakfast, lunch, and dinner service periods.
- Minimum of an SSCE or High School Diploma from a recognized institution.
- Prior working experience in a professional hotel, restaurant, or catering kitchen is a distinct advantage.
- Foundational knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Exceptional physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Strong teamwork, active listening, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
