About the Role
Precious Palm Royal Hotel is a premier resort strategically located along the Lagos-Benin Expressway in Isiohor, Ugbowo, Benin City, adjacent to the Nigerian Army School of Supply and Transport Headquarters. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel General Manager to oversee our comprehensive resort operations and elevate our guest experience to new heights.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, events, and maintenance departments.
- Manage operational budgets, monitor revenue streams, control costs, and implement effective strategies to meet profitability targets.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach department heads while establishing high performance and service standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with local health, safety, security regulations, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, VIP guests, and individual patrons to drive repeat business.
- Coordinate major events, manage local marketing initiatives, and oversee vendor procurement processes.
- Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are an advantage.
- Proven professional experience in a senior management role such as General Manager or Operations Manager within the hospitality sector.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control using modern property management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record in staff development and team supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian hospitality market and corporate sales strategies.
