About the Role
Lexworld Hotels is a modern premium hospitality destination located in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, strategically positioned near the industrial zones of Osisioma to serve business executives and travelers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hotel Accountant to oversee our daily financial transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and maintain robust internal financial controls. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial health of our establishment while delivering exceptional standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations including auditing, revenue tracking, and expense management within the hotel.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, daily front desk summaries, and point-of-sale transactions efficiently.
- Monitor inventory control, purchasing processes, and vendor payment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and internal company policies.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven professional experience working as an accountant within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and hotel property management systems.
- Must be at least 24 years of age and possess a valid identification document.
