About the Role
Marquise Energy is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, dedicated to supporting critical industries with seasoned professionals who streamline operations, mitigate risks, and drive project success. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Hot Oil Pump Operator to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing specialized well service treatments, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high operational standards across our project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Rig up the hot-oil truck or skid, lines, and pumping tools while ensuring thorough pressure-testing of all connections prior to operation.
- Execute precise hot-oil treatments according to designated programs, maintaining strict control over temperature, flow rate, and pressure.
- Collaborate effectively with the slickline crew during combined wax-cutting and hot-oil procedures to ensure seamless field execution.
- Monitor fuel levels, fluid conditions, and overall equipment health while accurately recording essential job parameters.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on specialized pumps, burners, and power units.
- Strictly adhere to permit-to-work protocols, applying rigorous hot-work, pressure, and flammable-fluid controls at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification, with an OND in a relevant discipline preferred.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in pump or hot-oil operations within the oil and gas sector.
- Relevant certifications in pressure pumping or hot-oil operations, hazardous materials handling, and standard offshore safety training.
- Strong technical proficiency in pump and burner operation, pressure control, and basic mechanical maintenance.
