About the Role
Olive Grove College is a premier, co-educational Christian secondary institution situated in Ugwuomu Nike, Enugu, Nigeria, dedicated to bridging the gap between advanced academic scholarship and comprehensive spiritual development. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hostel Master to join our vibrant school community and guide our residential students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily hostel operations and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly residential environment for all students.
- Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance aligned with the Christian values and ethos of the institution.
- Monitor student behavior, enforce school policies, and resolve disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.
- Coordinate exeunt, exeat processes, weekend activities, and prep sessions to ensure students' optimal use of time.
- Lodge maintenance requests and monitor facility upkeep in collaboration with the school administration and facilities team.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, health incidents, and behavioral reports.
- Possess a relevant academic qualification (NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in student hostel management, boarding supervision, or pastoral care within a secondary school.
- Strong emotional intelligence, patience, and excellent conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school management.
- Must be aligned with the Christian values and mission of Olive Grove College.
