About the Role
Kayima Bistro, a premier culinary service provider in Abuja, is seeking a dedicated and experienced female Home Tutor to support the academic growth of a Grade 6 student. While our core business is delivering delicious homemade meals, we are deeply committed to empowering our local community through educational support. We are looking for a passionate educator who can provide personalized, physical tutoring sessions to help our student excel academically and build strong foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, physical home tutoring sessions focusing primarily on Mathematics and problem-solving techniques.
- Assist the student with homework, projects, and general preparation across other Grade 6 subjects as needed.
- Assess the student's current academic level and tailor teaching methods to suit their individual learning pace.
- Maintain a patient, encouraging, and professional learning environment during every session.
- Provide regular progress updates to parents regarding the student's academic development.
- Must be a female graduate of Mathematics or a closely related academic discipline.
- Possess exceptional strength in Mathematics with a proven ability to explain complex concepts simply to children.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching or tutoring children at the primary school level, specifically Grade 6.
- Must reside within or in close proximity to the Apo axis in Abuja for reliable accessibility.
- Must be available for physical lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Competitive monthly salary of 50,000 NGN.
