Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Home Economics lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Instruct students in areas such as food and nutrition, home management, clothing and textiles, and consumer education.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and organizing practical sessions.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and well-equipped learning environment for practical classes.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations as well as external exams like SSCE.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc, or equivalent in Home Economics or a related discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Home Economics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong commitment to ethical teaching standards and student academic excellence.
