Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language lessons aligned with the approved curriculum for secondary school students.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal examinations as well as external assessments such as SSCE and UTME without compromising academic integrity.
- Assess, grade, and provide constructive feedback on student assignments, essays, and examinations.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Monitor individual student progress and provide extra support or remedial teaching to those who require it.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in English Language, Education (English), or a related field (NCE or Master's Degree is an added advantage).
- Proven teaching experience in secondary education, specifically preparing students for SSCE and UTME examinations.
- In-depth knowledge of current Nigerian educational curricula and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
