Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Home Economics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Teach practical skills in nutrition, food preparation, textiles, home management, and family consumer science.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized specialized classroom and laboratory environment for practical sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance the curriculum and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.
- Possess a relevant degree or professional qualification in Home Economics or a related discipline.
- Mandatory possession of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification.
- Higher professional certificates or additional teaching qualifications will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Proven experience teaching Home Economics in a reputable school environment within Nigeria.
