Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured history lessons that inspire critical thinking and a love for the past among secondary school students.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for regional and national examinations, specifically WAEC and NECO.
  • Design, administer, and grade assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance and behavioral development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in History or a related subject area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional teaching experience within a recognized secondary educational institution.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience successfully preparing and handling senior secondary classes for WAEC and NECO.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern pedagogical approaches, classroom management techniques, and history curricula.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
