We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and deliver engaging lessons that bring the past to life for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons to Junior Secondary classes in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Teach general knowledge subjects to primary classes, fostering curiosity and foundational understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in History, Education, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven teaching experience in a structured school environment, preferably within primary and junior secondary levels.
- Strong passion for teaching with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of modern pedagogical approaches and classroom management techniques.
