We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and dedicated History, Government, and Christian Religious Studies (CRS) Teacher to join our esteemed academic community in Nigeria. In this role, you will inspire students to discover their potential, think critically, and develop strong moral and civic values.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in History, Government, and CRS aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, debates, discussions, and real-life examples to enhance student engagement.
- Develop comprehensive schemes of work, lesson notes, and effective instructional teaching aids.
- Design, administer, and evaluate continuous assessments, quizzes, and examinations to monitor student progress.
- Maintain a disciplined, positive, and respectful classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Mentor students on moral conduct, leadership, civic responsibility, and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents regarding student academic and social development.
- Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Christian Religious Studies, Education, or a related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, TRCN certification) or relevant teaching experience.
- Deep understanding of historical facts, government systems, political concepts, and Christian doctrines.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
