About the Role
Doviana College of Education, an approved private tertiary institution by the NCCE based in Gboko, Benue State, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Higher Executive Officer-ICT. In this vital role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our campus technology infrastructure, support our e-learning platforms, and empower both staff and students through reliable digital solutions that align with our academic mission.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain campus hardware including computers, printers, and network infrastructure.
- Manage the college management systems, student portal, ERP, and Moodle LMS.
- Provide prompt first-line technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students.
- Ensure regular data backups, disaster recovery, and compliance with NCCE data protection policies.
- Assist faculty with online and blended learning tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Classroom.
- Maintain the college website, social media channels, and digital communication systems.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in ICT support, networking, or systems administration, preferably within a tertiary education environment.
- Strong proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, LAN/WAN setup, and Windows/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with WordPress, database basics, and cloud storage solutions.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft are a distinct advantage.
