We are currently seeking a dedicated and competent Health Information Manager Technologist to join our vibrant Medical Record department and help drive our digital health transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, maintain, and secure patient medical records in compliance with national healthcare standards and hospital policies.
- Ensure accurate coding, indexing, and data retrieval of patient health information for clinical, research, and administrative purposes.
- Facilitate the smooth transition and day-to-day operation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems across various departments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient data.
- Generate comprehensive statistical health reports to support hospital administration and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor junior records staff on best practices in health information management and data security.
- Possess a B.Sc. or HND in Health Information Management from a recognized institution.
- Must be duly registered and possess a current practicing license with the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN).
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program with a discharge or exemption certificate.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant post-qualification professional experience in a recognized healthcare facility.
- Demonstrated proficiency in working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and general ICT compliance.
