About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited (UP), Nigeria's premier financial technology and e-payment shared infrastructure company founded in 1997, is seeking an experienced and visionary Head, People and Culture. In this pivotal role, you will champion our human resources strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent optimization to support our rapid growth across the African fintech landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, workforce planning, and talent pipelines to maintain optimal staffing levels across the organization.
- Drive comprehensive employee engagement, culture enhancement, and wellness initiatives that strengthen our employer brand.
- Develop robust performance management frameworks, succession planning, and competitive compensation governance to retain top performers.
- Leverage HR analytics and workforce insights to guide data-informed decision-making and strategic business partnerships.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labor laws, maintain HR operational excellence, and effectively manage employee relations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Mandatory professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, HRCI, or CIPD.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational development, change management, compensation structuring, and advanced HR analytics.
