About the Role

Obek Group of Companies Limited (OBEK Group) is a premier Nigerian and Houston-based international conglomerate operating in manufacturing, agriculture, construction, energy services, and large-scale EPCIC projects. We are currently looking for an accomplished Head of Supply Chain Management to own and lead our Micro Enterprise-10 as a commercially accountable SCM business. In this vital executive role, you will consolidate group demand, secure competitive sourcing, and guarantee timely project delivery while driving profitability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the supply chain management P&L, service levels, and business strategy across multiple multidisciplinary projects.
  • Drive strategic sourcing, category management, high-value negotiations, and OEM relationships to secure commercial advantage.
  • Ensure stringent procurement governance, risk management, and business continuity across all operations.
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and strict compliance with Nigerian Content regulations.
  • Manage warehousing, inventory optimization, and materials assurance to guarantee on-time, in-full (OTIF) project execution.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing indigenous supply chain team to foster a culture of process excellence and safety.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA or M.Sc. is an advantage.
  • Professional certification such as CIPS (MCIPS strongly preferred), ISM CPSM, or CSCP.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive supply chain experience within EPCIC, oil and gas, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing multidisciplinary procurement teams and complex P&Ls.
  • Expertise in Nigerian import laws, customs procedures, trade compliance, and local supplier development.
