Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute long- and short-term strategic plans to enhance inventory management functions across the organization.
  • Conceptualize and implement industry best practices in stores and warehouse operations to optimize resource utilization and cost leadership.
  • Streamline systems and procedures for effective inventory control, ensuring uninterrupted material availability to meet aggressive production targets.
  • Oversee comprehensive store management and maintain strictly optimized inventory levels to reduce holding costs.
  • Liaise closely with the finance department to conduct periodic physical verifications, stock-taking, reconciliations, and precise documentation.
  • Drive the rigorous implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within all stores.
  • Provide effective mentorship and training to team members to continuously improve their technical skills and operational knowledge.
  • Execute the classification, codification, and standardization of materials for enhanced tracking.
  • Deploy advanced analysis tools for Management Information System (MIS) reporting and superior inventory control.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Warehouse Manager (CWM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, with significant senior-level experience in a tier-1 warehouse management role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing commodity strategies that drive supplier cost performance improvements.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations fundamentals and hands-on experience with industry-standard ERP systems.
