About the Role
ASEC Security Ltd is a premier private security firm headquartered in Sangotedo, Lagos, delivering exceptional protection and risk management solutions to residential and corporate clients. We are currently seeking an experienced retired or former Department of State Services (DSS) officer or a distinguished senior security professional to step into the role of Head of Security Operations / Commander and drive our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate comprehensive security operations across all client sites in Lagos.
- Supervise field commanders, supervisors, and frontline security personnel.
- Develop and enforce strict operational standards, procedures, and workplace discipline.
- Conduct professional security surveys, threat assessments, and vulnerability studies.
- Oversee the recruitment, screening, and operational deployment of security staff.
- Design and supervise continuous training programs for all personnel.
- Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of day and night patrol locations.
- Establish robust incident-reporting, investigation, and escalation procedures.
- Advise executive management on strategic security risks and improvements.
- Ensure total compliance with Nigerian laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Retired or former DSS officer or equivalent senior security command professional.
- Extensive experience in physical security, intelligence, investigation, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to build discipline, integrity, and strong morale within teams.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Physically and mentally fit for rigorous field supervision and site inspections.
- Current residency in Lagos or readiness to resume work locally.
- Prior experience in the private security sector is a distinct advantage.
