About the Role
Caronik Security Solutions Limited, a leading private security provider in Nigeria established in 2005, is seeking a disciplined and experienced Patrol Supervisor to oversee security operations across our various Lagos locations. In this vital role, you will ensure guard alertness, maintain strict compliance with standard operating procedures, and manage rapid responses to security incidents to protect our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and surprise day and night patrols of all assigned guard beats to ensure optimal alertness and professionalism.
- Supervise guard deployment, shift rotations, proper kitting, and attendance monitoring via occurrence books and registers.
- Enforce company discipline and standard operating procedures while reporting any misconduct or absenteeism immediately to management.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, distress calls, and security breaches across locations.
- Liaise effectively with clients to maintain strong professional relationships and address security concerns proactively.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily patrol reports complete with photographic evidence and detailed observations.
- Ensure patrol vehicles and company motorcycles are properly maintained and accounted for at all times.
- Minimum of an OND or SSCE with proven supervisory experience in the private security sector.
- 2 to 3 years of active experience as a Patrol Supervisor or Senior Guard within a reputable security firm.
- Background as an Ex-Service Man from the Army, Police, or Civil Defence is a distinct advantage.
- Must possess a valid rider's license and demonstrate proficiency in riding a motorcycle across Lagos terrain.
- Must be physically fit, agile, under 45 years of age, and willing to work flexible day and night shifts.
- Must be resident in Lagos with exceptional knowledge of local routes and navigation.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, incident management, and basic smartphone proficiency for digital reporting.
