About the Role

Aldelia Limited, a global leader in specialized recruitment and operational support services, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will drive our overall operational strategy, optimize supply chain performance, and ensure seamless coordination across all business units to support our expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall operational strategy, performance, and cross-functional execution.
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics, stock movement, and distribution activities.
  • Provide direct leadership to the inventory function, overseeing planning, control, reconciliations, and overall stock accuracy.
  • Monitor slow-moving, excess, and ageing inventory to minimize operational costs.
  • Drive operational compliance, internal controls, and comprehensive risk management frameworks.
  • Monitor boutique operational performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement targeted continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage external logistics partners and operational service providers effectively.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing Operations and Inventory teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Retail, Procurement, and Sales departments to achieve corporate objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory, or retail management.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-site or multi-location operations successfully.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational control.
  • Strong leadership, change management, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, FMCG, or premium consumer goods sectors is highly desirable.
