About the Role

First Ally Capital, a leading Issuing House and Financial Advisory firm licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Human Resources to join our executive team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage our human resources and administration functions, driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, payroll administration, policy compliance, and workplace administration to support the achievement of our ambitious business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR and people strategies aligned with overall business goals and corporate vision.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee confirmation, and robust succession planning frameworks.
  • Manage the performance appraisal lifecycle and drive targeted employee development and training processes.
  • Drive high employee engagement, positive corporate culture, staff welfare, and impactful recognition initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and efficient administration of comprehensive employee benefits.
  • Develop, review, and enforce company-wide HR policies while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proactively manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and effective conflict resolution.
  • Oversee smooth office administration, facilities management, vendor relationships, and general support services.
  • Provide insightful HR reports, workforce analytics, and strategic advisory support to Executive Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years operating successfully in a leadership role.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, performance management systems, payroll administration, and employee relations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
