We are currently looking for a visionary and results-driven Head of Finance to spearhead our financial operations, shape our corporate strategy, and ensure robust fiscal stewardship.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive corporate financial strategies, including annual budgeting, advanced forecasting, and cash flow modeling to support rapid business expansion.
- Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and executive management reports for the Board of Directors.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory regulations, and international reporting standards while actively mitigating financial risks.
- Lead, mentor, and scale the finance and accounting department, fostering a high-performance culture among accountants and financial analysts.
- Design, implement, and optimize internal controls, financial policies, and modern ERP accounting software to drive operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Mandatory professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or executive capacity within haulage, logistics, or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance principles, Nigerian tax regulations, and hands-on proficiency with ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of board-level presentations.
