About the Role
Caring Habitat, a specialized 40-bed medical rehabilitation facility located in Ajah, Lekki, is seeking a motivated and accomplished Head Nurse to oversee our nursing operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven rehabilitative nursing experience and a passion for developing healthcare professionals while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team including Matron, Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Nursing Assistants
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
- Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing personnel; conduct regular performance assessments
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and equipment inventory
- Monitor patient care quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and participate in accreditation processes
- Foster effective communication between nursing staff and hospital administration
- Promote professional development and maintain a positive work culture
- Postgraduate degree in Nursing or related field
- Valid Nursing License (RN or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years clinical nursing experience
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments
- Monthly net salary: ₦500,000
