About the Role

As we continue to expand our operations across major Nigerian cities, we are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Head, Internal Control to strengthen our control environment and support effective risk management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal control policies and standard operating procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Identify operational control gaps, financial risks, and potential areas of fraud across all business units.
- Conduct comprehensive periodic reviews and audits of financial, administrative, and operational processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal company policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Recommend practical corrective actions and actively follow up on the implementation of audit findings.
- Prepare accurate and timely internal control reports for senior management and the board audit committee.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Internal Control team to foster a culture of accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Recognized professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or CISA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years operating successfully in a managerial role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern internal control frameworks, enterprise risk management, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience within aviation, logistics, regulated industries, or Big Four audit firms is a distinct advantage.
