We are currently seeking a detail-ored and driven Accountant to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health, streamlining daily accounting operations, and supporting our strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including bank reconciliations and processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor cash flow, track departmental expenses, and evaluate budget performance regularly.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Support internal and external audits, as well as tax-related activities and filings.
- Utilize advanced accounting software to manage financial data and generate insightful reports.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven accounting experience in a structured environment.
- Mandatory possession of a recognized professional certification such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
