About the Role
Nicole Sinclair Consulting is recruiting a dynamic Head, Human Resources on behalf of our client, a leading media organization with a strong presence in Nigeria's broadcast industry. Based in Lagos with oversight of the Abuja bureau, this strategic role will shape the people agenda, foster a high-performance culture, and support diverse editorial, technical, and commercial teams within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals for a 24-hour broadcast operation.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and pipeline management for media professionals, journalists, and technical staff.
- Implement robust performance management systems and drive continuous employee engagement and well-being initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal corporate governance.
- Drive organizational development, change management, and targeted learning and development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional HR certification such as CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in media, broadcasting, or fast-paced industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in HR Business Partnering, talent management, and employment legislation in Nigeria.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
