About the Role

Bond Chemical Industries Limited is a well-established and rapidly expanding manufacturing and retail organization with operations rooted in Nigeria since 1976. We are currently looking for a strategic and dynamic Head, Human Resource and Admin Manager to oversee our talent management, employee relations, and general administrative operations across our corporate and factory locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks aligned with Nigerian labor laws.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, talent acquisition, and orientation processes for a large multi-location workforce.
  • Coordinate performance management systems, employee appraisals, training needs assessments, and staff development programs.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, employee relations, and conflict resolution professionally.
  • Support payroll administration by providing accurate attendance, leave, and employee data records.
  • Oversee general administrative operations, including facility management, office equipment, vendor management, and utility services.
  • Manage administrative budgets, supervise support staff, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and workplace regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI is a strong added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration within a retail, manufacturing, or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large workforces across multiple geographical locations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and modern HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern HR management systems.
