About the Role
The People Practice is partnering with a prominent financial services institution in Nigeria to hire an experienced, commercially minded Group Head of People & Culture. In this strategic leadership role, you will lead comprehensive people operations, ensuring the organization possesses the leadership, culture, and structural framework required to achieve its ambitious growth objectives across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the Group-wide people strategy aligned with overarching business objectives and market expansion plans.
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies to build robust leadership pipelines for critical roles.
- Shape and reinforce a high-performance corporate culture that reflects core organizational values and boosts employee engagement.
- Oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and performance management frameworks that drive accountability and reward excellence.
- Direct HR operations, governance, compliance, and data-driven systems to streamline the entire employee lifecycle.
- Partner with executive leadership to navigate organizational transformation, restructuring, and change management initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional HR certification, with a relevant postgraduate qualification acting as an added advantage.
