About the Role
ActiveEdge Technologies seeks an experienced Head of Cybersecurity to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity solutions. This deeply technical leadership role combines hands-on expertise with strategic oversight, driving comprehensive security strategies across software, hardware, network infrastructure, and data centers. You will champion end-to-end technical engagements, including solution architecture, threat analysis, and framework deployment aligned with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tailored security strategies for enterprise clients, identifying vulnerabilities and conducting periodic security audits
- Lead technical presales activities including proof of concepts, solution design, and technical proposal development
- Design and build-in security systems across client infrastructure and components
- Manage cybersecurity projects ensuring 100% implementation success and post-deployment optimization
- Provide technical analysis and pricing recommendations to ensure deal profitability
- Lead pre-sales presentations and technical workshops to generate revenue and secure renewals
- Build and mentor high-performing cybersecurity team with clear succession planning
- Collaborate with OEM partners on joint customer engagements and market visibility
- Manage revenue targets and develop sales pipelines with opportunity identification
- Stay current on cybersecurity product developments and contribute to organizational strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field
- 10-15 years progressive IT and Cybersecurity experience; 5-7 years in senior leadership role
- 5+ years hands-on experience with SIEM, IAM, NAC, vulnerability management, and endpoint security platforms
- Advanced certifications: CISSP, CASP, or SANS (GIAC/GCIA/GCIH)
- Deep expertise in QRadar, Palo Alto, or equivalent enterprise security platforms
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, defense-in-depth architecture, and security governance standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001)
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, target-driven environments
