We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head, Core Banking Operations to lead the administration, stability, optimization, and continuous improvement of our Core Banking System (CBS). In this strategic leadership role, you will ensure high availability, transaction integrity, regulatory compliance, and seamless technological support for all banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the Core Banking Application and all related banking modules.
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of the core banking platform.
  • Oversee product configuration including account products, onboarding, loans, deposits, General Ledger structures, and interest engines.
  • Coordinate system releases, upgrades, patches, and parameter changes efficiently.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes for the core banking environment.
  • Ensure data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and end-of-day processing stability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Middleware, Digital Channels, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements and drive audit compliance activities.
  • Drive automation and continuous process optimization initiatives within core banking operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and technical engagements with core banking providers.
  • Ensure robust disaster recovery readiness and business continuity compliance.
  • Lead proactive performance monitoring and overall system health management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc., B.Tech., or B.Eng.) with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or Physics/Electronics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of robust IT and e-payments experience, with strong exposure to agency banking, fintech, or payment platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing distributed transaction platforms.
  • Relevant professional certifications including ITIL v4, Project Management (PMP or Prince2), and Digital Banking or Fintech certifications.
