About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is a leading Information Technology and people screening company dedicated to revolutionizing recruitment and operational processes in Nigeria. Since 2007, we have pioneered objective application management and partnered with prestigious institutions like CIPM and NECA. We are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Head, Business Development & Managed Care to oversee our managed-care functions, ensure exceptional enrolee service, and drive sustainable healthcare partnerships across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the hospital's managed-care operations and manage strategic relationships with HMO and corporate retainership partners.
  • Oversee enrolee verification, pre-authorisation processes, patient referrals, and care management within agreed scheme terms.
  • Manage claims preparation, submission, reconciliation, and follow-up activities to significantly minimize rejections and financial delays.
  • Monitor service-level agreements and lead the swift resolution of operational disputes with various healthcare scheme partners.
  • Coordinate closely with clinical teams to guarantee that patient care remains evidence-based, cost-effective, and fully compliant with scheme rules.
  • Supervise, coach, and actively develop managed-care, clinical support, and customer experience personnel.
  • Track overall managed-care performance and revenue streams, reporting critical findings with actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Champion the ultimate enrolee experience, ensuring proactive complaints resolution and high retention rates across the department.

Qualifications
  • A relevant first degree in health sciences, nursing, public health, business administration, or a related academic discipline.
  • Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or presentation of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in managed care, HMO liaison, or healthcare administration, featuring demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Preferred background working within a multi-specialty hospital, a corporate hospital network, or an HMO-facing health system.
  • Strong expertise in claims processing, medical authorisation, and healthcare revenue-cycle management.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
